The Life and Times of Ralph Putzel, South Africa’s premier postal historian, is now avaliable as Version 6. Five new items have been added, the most important is a proving cover from Ian Shapiro which shows Ralph was still living with his mother in Newlands in August 1940. There are also contributions from Club Founder Member Robert Hill.

UPDATED BURMEISTER ARTICLE

An updated version of the article that documents the origins of Burmeister & Co. of East London is now available to view. Version 2 has new postcards, a postmark and two of just three known covers to the company at Kubusie in the 1920s. These Burmeister rarities have been generously contributed by the dealer, Simon Peetoom.
