Jamie, this trilogy of Aircraft Crash Mail is wonderful. Thank you for your sprinklings! It's quite incredible how postal historians are able to identify an unmarked crash cover like the one above the above and see it for what it really is. Did you buy this from Stephen Welz & Co. and if yes, when? Did you acquire most of your material in SA, here in the UK or on-line variously? You have splendid material!

Steve, Thanks. This Item I bought on eBay, It was still in the Stephen Weltz plastic with the number but no date and I have been looking for it through old catalogues but no luck to date. The rest of the research was on Google. Other material I bought at various South African Saturday morning fairs over a period of nearly 40 years, I rarely buy on auctions as I find the price climbs too quickly for my health (possible heart attacks!). Of course there are exceptions, like when others don't know what they are looking at!
