Central Telegraph Office - Cape Town, Union of South Africa, 1935.

The cover front and reverse below provides three CTO (Central Telegraph Office) CAPE TOWN datestamps unidentified (UnID) by Ralph Putzel in his 'The Postmarks of South Africa', nor do any appear to be in Alex Visser's Addendum. This advice is provided in good faith ie. there may be issues with some of this. If you spot errors, please reply to this post with your advice. Thanks.

Front Cover - WILLOWMORE SOUTH AFRICA - Putzel Type 7
This cover displays two fine 32mm DC (Double Circle) datestamps - Type 1 Unilingual WILLOWMORE SOUTH AFRICA '20 AUG 35' showing full date with Time Code Letter - cancelling 1d postal stationery.

Front Cover - Bilingual CTO CAPE TOWN CTK KAAPSTAD - Putzel UnID.
1]. 30mm DC
2]. CTO (top) and CTK (bottom)
3]. No stops in CTO and CTK.
4]. Full date - Block in place of Time Code Letter.
5]. Noticeable dent in outer circle on right between 'N' and 'D'.

This postmark looks like Putzel's Type T23, T24 and T25, all of which have stops between C.T.O. and C.T.K.

Reverse - Right - CTO CAPE TOWN - Putzel UnID.
1]. 26mm DC
2]. CTO (top) and CAPE TOWN (bottom)
3]. Stops in C.T.O
4]. Full date - Block in place of Time Code Letter.

Putzel shows no DC datestamp with C.T.O at the top.

Reverse - Left - Bilingual CTO CAPE TOWN CTK KAAPSTAD - Putzel UnID.
1]. 26mm Divided DC, possibly Divided Triple Circle
2]. English (top) and Afrikaans (bottom)
3]. Stops in C.T.O and C.T.K.
4]. Full date with Time Code Numeral.
5]. Noticeable dent in outer circle on right between 'N' and 'D'.

This datestamp is unclear but appears to be a Divided DC unlike anything Putzel shows.
