Jamie, I hope this is not inappropriate here but I have for some time been collecting and putting together a small display on 'Penguins on South African Stamps, Covers, Postcards, Postmarks and Ephemera'. I am hoping to show the first nine pages at the SACS meeting this coming weekend. Will you be well enough to attend? I look forward to seeing you there if you are?

Kwik Kwestion: Africa has only one penguin species, the African or Cape Jackass. So, why does South Africa claim five?

Answer: South Africa has Marion and Prince Edward Island in the South Atlantic, as well as the SANAE Antarctic base!
