I have here a Briefkaart of the Zuid-Afrik. Republiek, overprinted V.R.I. half Penny. Postmarked VEREENIGING 19.DEC.00

Who can decipher the address for me? On the back, we see arrival stamp CARNARVON A DE.20.00 CAPE COLONY

Or do you want to know about Vereeniging, I lived there for 40 years.

B. Benjamin Esq., Carnarvon, Cape Colony.

'Esq' (Esquire) is an old-fasioned polite title added after a man's name on envelopes and official documents still used in the UK today.
