The next part of the ZAR and Transvaal date-stamp catalogue (agencies and offices beginning with C-F) is close to completion, for publication in the next Transvaal Philatelist.  If you have any ZAR or Transvaal postmarks, please take the time to have a look at the draft catalogue below, and send us any additions (new postmarks; new earliest and latest dates), corrections, and comments.  The images we have at the moment are of variable quality; we would welcome better scans (300-400 dpi preferred) of any date-stamp.

Please note that the catalogue covers only post-marks with dates (date-stamps);  it doesn’t include undated cancellers.  It doesn’t cover date-stamps that first came into use after Union (31 May 1910), but does cover later use of pre-Union date-stamps.

Contributions will be acknowledged with thanks.  As the publication deadline for this part is in early March, we can only include material received before the end of February 2021.  After that date, contributions are still very welcome, but would have to wait to be included in an update.
